Tucker van Leuwen-Hall

Tucker van Leuwen-Hall is a multi-disciplinary educator and designer. His work explores new pedagogical models at the intersection of queer aesthetics and emerging technologies, focusing on machine learning aesthetics' role in addressing and visualizing pressing global issues, such as the waning state of globalization and the fallout of the Anthropocene.
van Leuwen-Hall has presented his research at conferences such as the "Architecture Informatics Society: Round Table Session" at the University of Tokyo and "Science: Between Literal and Metaphorical Meanings" at the University of Lisbon; in lectures at Yale, SCI-Arc, and UCLA; and in exhibitions at Modest Commons and the A+D Museum.
van Leuwen-Hall holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Science in Architectural Technology with distinction from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc). He previously taught at SCI-Arc, Pratt Institute, and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
